From Newport News:

  1. Take instate 64 (East) towards Norfolk.
  2. Take the last exit # 268 (VA Hospital and Fort Monroe) before the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
  3. At the traffic light, take a left onto Mallory.
  4. Go to the second traffic light and take a right onto Mellen Street.
  5. Continue until you come to the Main Gate (Traffic light) of Fort Monroe.

From Norfolk:

  1. Take instate 64 (West) towards Newport News.
  2. Take the exit # 268 (VA Hospital and Fort Monroe) after the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
  3. At the traffic light, take a left onto Mallory.
  4. Go to the second traffic light and take a right onto Mellen Street.
  5. Continue until you come to the Main Gate (Traffic light) of Fort Monroe.

Upon Arrival at Gate:

Civilians *Must have a current drivers license and valid registration

  1. At the Main Gate stay to your right and continue following the road (Fenwick Road) past the Chamberlin Hotel and the stop sign.
  2. Continue almost one mile past the Child Development Center, on your right you will see the intersection of Fenwick and Stillwell.
  3. Take a left onto Stillwell. ACS will be the 1st building on your right. (Next to the Combined Activity Center and the Bowling Center)

Military ID card holders

  1. At the light stay to your left and take your 1st left onto Stillwell Road.
  2. You will continue approx. ½ mile with the water on your left. ACS will be your 1st building to your left.
